Der Moderne Man - 80 Tage auf See

The first and only album of Der Moderne Man from Hannover with the original vocalist Ziggy XY. I remember the band being disappointed about the record at that time because of the cheap 8-track studio where they had to mix down the drums to record further instruments and probably of clashes about musical ideas like Ziggy once said "Es heißt wir machen Chaos und dann setzt einfach die Gitarre aus" (They say we're making chaos and then only the guitar drops off). Still its a pretty unique record compared to other ndW and punk records at that time with these strange pre-gothic lyrics by Ziggy and the heavy british influences. Again you don't have to download it because the album is now officially re-released as a 2-disc-set entitled "Drama, Spiel & Blut - 1" together with "Verstimmt", "Neues aus Hong Kong", the first EP and various unreleased tracks. Please don't complain about the liner notes ;-) (Hallo Jenzz, wo ist mein Beleg-Exemplar? Und ich hätte gerne meine alten Cassetten wieder zurück.)
