S.Y.P.H. - Pst!

The second album from S.Y.P.H. took the band way beyond the bounderies of punk with the help of Holger Czukay, the former bass player, radio transmitter and tape cutter of Krautrock legend Can. You can hear these recordings on 3 different albums because when the first studio session was finished Czukay took the tapes with him and mixed and cutted them but the band wasn't pleased with the results. So they agreed that Czukay can release his mixes on his own and the band can enter the Inner Space studio for a second time for free. The album has tracks from both studio sessions and here even their jams sound like real songs. Great stuff which is essential for German post-punk. By the way, the cover was done by IMI Knoebel, husband of Carmen Knoebel of "Ratinger Hof"-fame.
